Your Kid Is Putting In the Work. The System Is Letting Them Down.

Field Fluid Academy gives infielders a proven system — built on mechanics, rhythm, and real confidence — so the work they're already doing finally adds up.

Most athletes aren't struggling because of effort. They're struggling because of the system they're in.

01

Too Many Drills, No Direction

Your athlete is grinding reps but nothing is connecting. YouTube videos, random drills, inconsistent lessons — it's information without a system.

→ What they actually need: One clear, progressive program built around fundamentals.

02

No One Is Watching Closely Enough

The difference between a player who plateaus and one who breaks through is real-time feedback. Without someone who actually sees the patterns, bad habits get reinforced — not fixed.

→ What they actually need: A coach who's in it with them, watching every rep.

03

Confidence Disappears When It Counts

They can make the play in practice. But in a game, when it matters, something breaks. That gap doesn't close on its own — it closes with the right training.

→ What they actually need: A system that builds confidence, not just mechanics.

"9 out of 10 kids I see are doing the same drills they did at 12. Then we wonder why they plateau in high school."

— Coach Pete Torres III

This is for your athlete if…

  • They've been playing for years but feel stuck at the same level
  • They work hard but their mechanics fall apart under pressure
  • You've paid for lessons that don't seem to add up to anything
  • They have the drive — they just need the right system
  • They want to slow the game down and play with real confidence
  • They're tired of guessing and ready for structure

Why learn from Pete?

Pete Torres III grew up in Vacaville, California, playing baseball across the Bay Area and Solano County from the age of two. The game always came fast and easy to him — he played three years up from age five and competed in Fortune baseball at ten. He went on to play collegiate baseball at three levels: junior college at Santa Rosa, NAIA at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, and Division II at the Academy of Art.

Now he teaches the same system — the four pillars, the rhythm, the timing — to athletes online, in person, and 1:1. Real coaching, watched closely, every single rep.

"Infield isn't four separate skills. It's one rhythm. When catch play, footwork, throwing, and timing connect — the game slows down."

Built on Four Pillars

Every skill Pete teaches connects back to one of four fundamentals. When these four connect — catch play, footwork, throwing, timing — the game slows down.

I

Catch Play

Build the hands, confidence, and consistency every great infielder needs. The foundation for trusting yourself in the field. How you catch play is how you play the game.

Treat every throw like a game rep.

II

Footwork

Train your feet to put you in the right position at the right time. When you move with purpose, the game starts to feel slower. Feet first — everything else follows.

Good footwork makes hard plays look easy.

III

Throwing

Clean, accurate throws with mechanics that hold up under pressure. Accuracy and consistency beat velocity every time. Throw with your whole body, not just your arm.

Every throw should have a purpose.

IV

Rhythm & Timing

Move with flow, stay calm under pressure, and connect every part of the play. The best athletes don't think fast — they flow.

Rhythm is the glue between every skill on the field.

"When these four things work together, the game changes. Your athlete will feel it."
